Kinson Camera Club was founded in March 1961 by a small number of enthusiastic amateur photographers. The club was renamed Kinson Photo Club in 2014.

 

Those Founders wanted to enhance their enjoyment of their hobby and, with other like-minded individuals, began challenging each other’s artistic and photographic skills in a friendly competitive environment.

In March 1964 the Kinson Camera Club, together with other well established clubs, founded the Stour and Avon Photographic Association (S A P A), which became the local Governing body setting the Standards and establishing Rules for Inter-Club & League Competitive events.

Nearly 60 years after founding, Kinson Camera Club, now re-named KINSON PHOTO CLUB, remains faithful to its roots, supporting amateur photographers of every level and encouraging them to enjoy their hobby in a friendly environment.
